On Friday March 13th, the Celtic Faire will open for school field trips and families, in our new School and Family Day. For a number of years we've opened the faire on Friday for school field trips. Over the years thousands of students from public, private, and home schools have come out to enjoy the faire. Now we're opening this event to all families.
Family day is geared towards elementary and middle school age students, and public, private, and home schools, and anyone else with young children are welcome.

On family day we tone down the faire for family friendly entertainment. There's no alcohol for sale (duh!) and we take down all the alcohol banners. During schools day, there will be a number of educational talks and demonstrations for you to see. Food is available, or bring your own, and some of the faire's vendors will be open with age appropriate wares.
Schools Day opens at 9am and goes until 2pm. Groups are free to arrive and leave on their own schedule, but there is a lot to see and do so the more time you have the better.
Cost is $5 per student, $10 for parents and docents. Larger groups should pre-register. If you'd like more information, contact Lissa Brit at schools@SonoraCelticFaire.com.
